I lost 120lbs doing Atkins but it isn't just eat red meat all day and nothing else. You must eat the veggies or you aren't doing the plan. And you have to get your healthy oils like olive oil in too. Basically, the diet is about large quantities of vegetables and healthy portions of meat and eggs. It is safe don't let people who don't know tell you different IF you follow it correctly. Is eating 1 meal a day good?

I'm 16, 6'3, 190 pounds. And male. For the past year I have only been 1 meal a day. Don't get me wrong, I'm not starving myself, I eat when I'm hungry, I'm just not hungry thatmuch. So basically I was born on Jan. 20, 1988. From a legal standpoint, I am 100% sure that we SHOULD win. From a moral standpoint, I am 120% sure that we should win. I don't know the details of our current supreme court justices, or the chief of justice, but personal biases are supposed to be left out of the courtroom. I've seen some of the cases presented, and our arguments are very strong and solid. The arguments for Prop 8 are frivolous, fluffy, off-topic and biased for the most part. There really aren't any good arguments against gay marriage, so I think that we have a good chance for winning, which will be a huge historical advancement for gay rights. If/when we win, I'm going to make every attempt to bring Maine's recent "Question 1" which was the very similar to Prop 8 to the supreme court, and hopefully we'll reach national marriage equality soon enough.

The secret to a good, rare roast beef is to cook it on low heat, slowly. There is really no recipe involved for a good roast. Just turn on the oven to a low heat and rub it with some salt and pepper and spices (garlic salt or seasoning salt are good) and then put it in a covered pan in the oven. Keep a careful watch on it and don't let it get overdone if you want it rare. You can also baste it like a turkey to help keep it juicy.

What the Army Recruiter said sounds correct. You would attend weekend drills once a month and get paid for it. You can go to military.com and use the drill calculator to try to figure out what your pay might be. Most likely you would start as an E-1, possibly and E-2 and factor in your years of service. Drills are in either 4 drill periods or 5 drill periods for a drill weekend. In the reserves you are required to attend monthly drills for one weekend a month and and annual training that can be anywhere from 12-21 days depending on what it is and where its at. You can attend schools which are longer while in the reserves. Your recruiter was making a good point about getting some rank before you go active duty and your time in the reserves will count when it comes time to factor in your retirement benefits.

I work as a cable installer, and occasionaly I run into a situation where I'm installing internet service, but the customer has no computer. Ya know, I thought I was the only person with this problem. This is an every semester thing for me, and like you, I know my parents are having financial issues but so am I. I'm gonna give my mom some of it, but at the same time, I'm not giving her most of it. No, it's not fair, and as a previous answerer said, it's to help with the cost of attending college. As far as giving your mom some money to help, cost of living is an important factor, and the money IS supposed to be used to help with that. I suggest you maybe pay the electric bill or rent, and let that be the money you give her. That way you know it's going to a bill and you dont just give the money to her for her own use. Thats what I do when I get mine. That way I help them and it helps me at the same time knowing Im gonna have power or whatever.....just a thought.

My two small grand daughters, one is eleven months, the other two and a half years. My hubby, a Maintenance Tech in this big company for 10 years recently found out the newly hired employee (Maint Tech) is earning $4 higher than he's per hour salary. My hubby had Two year degree in Mechanic, had boiler license and Maintenance Tech at the Army Reserve for 15 years. The newly hired guy dont have degree, dont have boiler license, not much experience in Maint Tech but was trained at the Air Force as aircraft mechanic for 6 years. My husband brought this up to he's supervisor but then he was told to go directly to HR. He went to HR dept and talked to the HR Manager about this things but then the HR did not deny it, they are hiring new Maint Tech because they cant find anybody and that is the market price today. My husband didnt like it, and he said that he will leave the company as soon as he find a different job. Is the HR lady is right for hiring new people for a higher wage than old employees? My husband has been a good worker for this company and always get a recognition, but then they didnt want to give him a raise. Go with Peterson, Mcfadden, and Forte and start Calvin and Holmes. Trade a RB for a WR. I think Welker will produce less without a legitimate deep threat and Johnson and Edwards are unreliable. Mcfadden is a player that you just should not bench when healthy the way he has been playing and Peterson is a must start every week, especially against a bad team like the Cards. Forte is also another player you need to start most weeks because he is an RB in a Martz system which means he will be thrown to quite a bit and also get his carries. When ever you turn it on would be a good time to also feed them. The fish will get used to it and will want to eat when ever you turn it on. Fish don't really need things to play they use things to hide in. You should get one for them. You will need to clean as to how dirty and cloudy it gets. Gold fish are one of the dirtiest fish. Therefore you might have to clean more often. On the plus size of the gold fish they are very cheap. So if they die you can get more for just a few cents. Also you put some ghost shrimp in your tank with them and they should be but I would not do this until you get a big tank. 2 fish in a one gallon is all i would do.

Boy do I feel your pain! I suffer from the same phobia - and that's exactly what it is...a phobia. I am married with two children, and I can't comfort my husband or my kids when they throw up. I instantly run away from the situation - it's like internal panic. It's awful - I obsess and worry about my husband or children getting the stomach flu. I've done some research on this phobia (called emetophobia) - and there are different treatments out there - hypnosis and such. Your phobia was most likely triggered from your experience with Rebecca years ago. As with most phobias, it's unlikely you can get over it on your own. I'm sure you've tried to talk yourself out of this fear a thousand times, only to find yourself back to square one when put in a situation when you think someone might throw up. I'm sure you'll receive responses that you should force yourself to watch someone throw up - but that won't solve the root of your phobia - and your anxious feelings will soon return. Question about evolution?

Humans do not have fangs or claws in which to protect themselves the way other animals do. They have hands which came from the ape family which have them to climb trees for protection. We started walking upright when we left the trees. Here is the problem, they should have died off because their protection was the trees. Something unusual had to happen, so that they survived this time period, before walking upright, which made running with a baby possible. They had help of some kind.

Why do some people find it unacceptable to use the term "animals" in a context where the word excludes humans?

Why do some people think that anyone who casually says something like "humans and animals" has to be both corrected and insulted? I mean, sure, humans technically are animals, but this is still just everyday language. There is a book called a dictionary that confirms that it is okay for common words to have more than one definition, based on the context in which they are used. Most importantly, just because someone casually uses everyday language does not automatically mean that they are some sort of scientific illiterate who does not consider humans to be animals. So how is this seriously any more ignorant than using the term "bugs" to describe terrestrial arthropods in general, when it technically refers only to a specific order of insects? I mean, sheesh!

Husband and I are ttc what could this be?

Ok so my husband and I are ttc and it didnt work Jan because my doc said that it was to close to my period and we didnt have much of a window to get preg. So i had my period the 24th of jan till 27th the day i got off my period we have tried ATLEAST every other day sometimes everyday we also got a ovulation pack did that and tried everytime i was fertil. So the last day that i was fertil was the 7th and as of YESTERDAY 11th i have felt soooooooooo sick at my stomach and i have been pooping more than usual and i have SUPER bad heartburn and my back and sides are KILLING me. I couldnt get to sleep last night so i stayed up and watched a movie and when i went to potty last night when i stoped peeing i started hurting sooooo bad like really really painfull period cramps and i had real light pale pink blood from vag could this be pregnancy? Ok now let me clarify. I ignorantly bought a new cpu off of ebay without researching compatibility issues. I'm using a dell dimension 2350 and the memory runs at an fsb of 400mhz (I believe). The new processor has an fsb of 533mhz. I'm really don't know a lot about multipliers and all of that. Will this cause instability? Will it cause the system to run painfully slow. Or will the system pretty much underclock the processor to match the speed of the memory. Just incase it matters; my motherboard is a rev a00 (I cant find much doention on it)

Here is the thing...... sometimes moisture builds up from condensation, and will freeze the door into position. sometimes the actuator cable binds, and bends freezing it into position. If the rod, or door are binding, a new controller [used to you] will end up like this one. It is important to make certain that the door and rod are working. you would need to remove the controller. I gather you cant, or don't know how. Find a controller, and take it to a shop that is not busy, present $100, and the controller, see if there are any takers. Tell them that is all you got. Don't roll in there dropped on 20's and have a 2k stereo. You will be leaving with your still broken controller, 20's, and stereo. Tell them you want the controller installed. You get no warranty, but it's cheaper than the alternative. Remember it's plastic, really old, brittle, cold plastic. You won't get heat until the engine is at operating temp. Give it a few minutes, or move to Arizona. Good Luck you can also fix the door into the open position to get thru the winter. it is on the penger side under the glove compartment
