Obama as a US Senator managed to work with Senator Lugar for a bi-partisan Lugar/Obama Nuclear Proliferation Bill, to reduce the stock piles of nuclear weapons that could easily be obtained by terrorist. Obama chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Obama voting record in the Senate has been excellent. Lastly he had the to stand up against the Iraq invasion, when it wasn't popular.
